About this Survey
Today, a multitude of interesting concepts, offers and products are available to office and information workers so they may create themselves a suitable office space, work environment, and appropriate technological surroundings. Yet, little is known about their actual experience and the concrete possibilities for making knowledge work productive in the office. The main questions are:
- How productively can work be done in an office these days?
- How should an appropriate information and knowledge environment be designed to suit different types of office and knowledge workers?
- What kind of information and communication technology – besides the nowadays customary desktop and laptop computers - is helpful to whom, when, and how proficient are users in handling their equipment?
Your opinion and experience are very important to us! Please take about 20 minutes to answer the questions of the »Information-Worker-Check«.
The OFFICE 21-Portal »Information-Worker-Check« seeks to investigate the aforementioned questions; at the same time, the survey has been designed to put every participant in a position where they can easily analyze their own work situation with reference to the above-named aspects. Realtime evaluations make it possible for you to receive your own result and evaluation profile immediately after completion of the survey.
You will be able to assess your result in comparison to others and to current benchmark values on the basis of several specific values as well as graphic representations.
In order to achieve a comprehensive evaluation and a comparable result, we would ask you to fill in the questionnaire completely. However, should you be unable to answer a particular question, please leave that response blank.
Your data will naturally be collected anonymously and treated as confidential in accordance with the rules governing data protection.
Our “information-worker-check” has been designed has a long-term study. However, we will be happy to provide you with a summary of the interim findings that have been scheduled for the end of 2008. Please note the respective remarks on this at the end of the questionnaire.
